Anastasia Bogdanova, the creative behind EcoLama, has created a monthly subscription-based business model for clothing pattern designs. EcoLama will be selling sewing patterns for individual or commercial use designed to upcycle old clothing, giving products a second life. Her proposed endeavor in the United States will have economic, environmental, and cultural benefits. Her business will create jobs and provide a new high-quality product to the market. EcoLama's products will also save water used in clothing production, curb greenhouse gasses released in production and logistics, and lessen the amount of used garments in landfills. Finally, Mrs. Bogdanova's proposed endeavor will contribute to the global soft power of the United States, as a prominent Russian fashion designer with a great deal of influence in Russia and the CIS countries establishes her fashion business in the US, reaffirming the US as a cultural center and important market.

EcoLama is in the process of establishing the United States as its fashion headquarters, bringing jobs and talent to America. The United States continues to be an economic hub for immigrants with thriving innovative businesses and a cultural hub for the world's leading creatives.
